Spring in the Snow Storm

Well, it is officially Spring, but here in Cincinnati we are still being threatened with snow storms over the next 3 days - SERIOUSLY!  Uggghhh...I am so ready for spring and the hot weather that will come almost immediately after the snow stops (typical - just in case you are not familiar with Cincinnati's crazy weather) so I can start dreaming about the fall again! ;)

In the spirit of the season I decided that they may be calling for 5 inches of snow today, but I am declaring that "It is SPRING" or at least "It is coming"....I mean I did wear the OTK boots today in prep for the snow!

(Sorry the pics are such bad quality - the lighting was terrible and I only had my iPhone today)

Stella & Dot Renegade necklace / Stella & Dot Rebel Pendant / Stella & Dot Lindsay Bangle in Coral (no longer available) / Random Coral pattern bangle via Target / Michael Kors watch / Stella & Dot Luna Wrap Bracelet

Oh how I do LOVE my Stella & Dot jewels :)  I know there has been such a buzz about Stella & Dot in the blog community lately and I am so glad to see it!  I have been wearing this brand for a few years now and I just love the quality for the price! If you have never owned any Stella & Dot pieces you really should try them today!!

  1. Cute outfit! I feel your pain regarding the weather. I am so sick of this winter and cannot wait to bring out the spring/summer clothes.

  2. I love Stella & Dot too, and I have the Rebel pendant and it's one of my favorite pieces! I have the renegade bracelet, but I'm loving how the necklace looks paired with that pendant. I was a stylist for a short time but I was buying much more than I was selling so I decided to relinquish my stylist role.
Don't you just love the packaging? I always feel special when I open a Stella package!
You look beautiful as always, Jess! Your blog is really good and it's one of my favs:-)

    1. Gina you are too sweet - thank you for that compliment. It really means a lot! I admire you and your blog so much :)

I totally get not being able to be a stylist for them - my girlfriend has asked if I would be interested in selling, too. I know I would probably never actually sell anything, but I would buy everything! LOL :)

    2. Yep, that was my problem...created a net deficit instead of earnings. Oops!

  3. Jessy, Thanks for your comment... We really are quite similar. I have an idea for your polka dot blouse...Go buy yourself a lovely pencil skirt in a springy hue. The polka dot blouse will look lovely with it, and you can even wear it on Easter maybe. You could even sneak in some new pumps all in the name of Easter fashion:) I spend a lot of time thinking up justifications for new purchases:-)

  4. Gorgeous outfit!! I love the pop of color for Spring! My brother lives in Cincinnati and I live about two hours away. We had a snow day today! Talk about depressing start to Spring, but yay for a day off of teaching!

    1. Thanks, Amy! Our kids started their Spring Break today, but they are out in their snow outfits playing in the snow. I think this may be a first - ha! Yay to you for a snow day, though. Nice to get one more of those in this year :)

  5. Hey, great outfit! Here in the UK, we are also having snow storms at the moment. Not very Easter-like weather! So, I'm always really interested to see how someone like you styles out the cold weather. It's so difficult to be warm, weather-appropriate and fashionable, but you're great at it! Thanks for the posting, very inspiring.
