I imagine you are wondering how many beauty "test" products one girl can need and I assure you I am not sure, but once I figure it out I will let you know! ;) In the meantime I would love to give you the insight on another great "arrives in your mailbox periodically so you can test the latest and greatest new beauty products" package. This one is New Beauty's "Test Tube". This package comes with what you see below: the latest New Beauty magazine, a great selection of beauty products inside the pink "test tube" (this one had a total of 8 products - several full sized products!) and great "Spalook" coupons worth $10, $25 and $50.
This beauty trial package comes every 3 months (quarterly) at a cost of $29.95. You can sign up here if you would like to test out this service. So far I am pretty happy with what I received (this is my first package) and I am looking forward to the next package already!
Tarte Amazonian Clay 12-hour Blush (full sized - $25): LOVE this blush! I have never used tarte before, but this is lovely.....I have used it the last 2 days and I really love the color and how long it wears without fading.
Vichy Liftavtiv Serum 10 & Liftactiv Eyes (.1oz trial sized each): haven't tried yet, but I am excited to try both
Stila Face The Day Mulit-Use Moisturizing Gel Cream (.5 fl oz trial size): Looking forward to using this cream, as well. Will have to report back!
Simple Facial Cleansing Wipes (trial pack of 7 wipes): Free of alcohol, oils, perfumes and dyes. I use these wipes after a workout and/or a run. I typically don't get straight to a shower or am able to wash my face so I love to keep these wipes with me. They do a great job of cleaning all the dirt and sweat off so it's doesn't clog my pores and start a breakout session! Non-drying and they leave my face feeling fresh and clean.
Dr. Brandt Pores No More cleanser (full sized 3.5fl oz $35): I used this cleanser for the first time last night with my Clarisonic when cleaning my face from make-up at the end of the day. I have to say that I definitely felt the "tightening" of my face and pores after use. It wasn't uncomfortable, but certainly could be felt. I did notice that before I put my face cream on I did have a couple of dry spots but they didn't linger. Jury is still out on this one, but I am willing to keep trying it to figure it out. I like the idea of anything that makes my pores smaller (I have always struggled with that issue in my skin).
Phyto Paris anti-frizz Hair Relaxing Balm (trial sized .5 fl oz): To be used for relaxing naturally curly and permed hair and naturally frizzy hair. All botanical and chemical free formula. Although I would have never chosen this product myself for purchase I will give it a try. My hair is naturally wavy and has a little bit of frizz so it might be something I would end up liking.
Mally Evercolor Starlight Waterproof Liner in Midnight (full size): I wore this today and I actually did not find it to be waterproof - or tear proof anyway. I had a speaking engagement at a local church this morning promoting a partnership with Pregnancy Care of Cincinnati (the organization I work for). When I was presenting to the congregation I couldn't help but get a little teary over the subject matter. After the service I noticed that most of the liner on the bottom left lid was mostly gone. Hmmm.....I will try it a few more times to see if it holds up any better in the future.
Going to run....a cozy place next to my husband on the couch in front of the fire is calling my name on this cold winter Sunday evening. I think it's movie time! :)
XO
Jessy
